About the event
Join us on Friday, 9th May 2025, for a breathtaking Bluebell Walk through the Clent Hills! This intermediate-level hike is the perfect way to enjoy spring in full bloom, with carpets of bluebells, far-reaching views, and a mix of fascinating history and natural beauty.
This 11 km (6.8 miles) circular route takes us across rolling hills and through ancient woodlands, where bluebells create a spectacular display at this time of year. Starting at Nimmings Wood Café, we’ll make our way to some of the most iconic spots in the Clent Hills, including The Four Stones, a striking monument that—despite appearances—isn’t prehistoric but was actually built in the 18th century. We’ll also reach the highest point in Northern Worcestershire, Walton Hill (316m), where the panoramic views stretch as far as the Malverns, Peak District, Shropshire Hills, and Charnwood Forest.
