1. Canoeing Over Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in Llangollen, Wales:
Let's kick things off in the enchanting town of Llangollen in North Wales, where a quirky adventure awaits. 2. All Aboard the Hogwarts Express - Scottish Highlands
Choo, choo! Calling all train fanatics, Potterheads and muggles alike! Prepare to embark on a magical adventure as we hop on the Hogwarts Express. The Jacobite Steam Train, which played a starring role as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films, will whisk you away through some of Scotland's most enchanting scenery.
Described as the greatest railway journey in the world, this 84 mile round trip takes you past a list of impressive extremes. It's a must-do on the Top 5 UK autumn adventure list! Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, it then visits Britain's most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig. However the highlight of this journey is crossing over the 21-arched Glenfinnan viaduct (made famous in the Harry Potter films) which overlooks Loch Shiel and the Jacobite monument.
Times: The morning service runs from Monday 3rd April to Friday 27th October 2023. The afternoon service operates from Monday 1st May to Friday 29th September 2023 (both are on seven days per week).
